Akademien is Jönköping Student Union’s nightclub, it’s open every Wednesday and Fridays for all members of the Union. At Wednesdays you can party Akademien which is one of Jönköping’s biggest nightclubs with three distinct bars/dance floors. On Friday evenings Akademien offers After school taco buffet. You will find Akademien in Tändsticksområdet in Jönköping, about a five minute walk from Campus.

Bar with a laid back feeling and lots of places to sit.

Admittance
In order to be permitted at Akademien you have to be able to prove that you are a member of Jönköping Student union, just show your student card, be over 18 years of age and carry a valid ID card. If you can’t prove that you are a member or if you are unable identify yourself, you will not be permitted to enter!
During the kick off/welcome week you will receive a special ribbon proving that you are a student, this is because it takes a while for you to receive your membership card.
The guest list
On ordinary Wednesdays nights you can bring a friend who is a member of another student union than Jönköping Student union but you have to put them on the guest list at least 24 hours before Akademien opens, latest at Tuesday afternoon. You find the guest list at Studentservice at floor 0 in Studenternas Hus,
Open nights
On “open nights” your friend does not have to be a member of a student union.
Every semester Akademien has two open nights and there is only 200 spots on the guest list, so put your friend on the guest list in time.
