There are several associations that cooperate with Jönköping Student Union. There is a wide selection of associations for you to occupy yourself; hopefully one of them will interest you.

JSIF
Jönköping Studenters Idrotts Förening is a non-profit athletics association. The association is for all students at Jönköping University and all activities are adjusted to the participant’s requests. Activate yourselves for pleasure or in order to compete at the Swedish student championships! It’s all up to you.

KRUT

If you have a burning interest in pyrotechnics then KRUT is the association for you. KRUT is Jönköping University’s pyrotechnics association; we arrange pyrotechnics shows on a regular basis and compete in the student pyrotechnics championship every year. You are welcome to participate at your own leisure.

Jönköping UniVoices
We’re a happy gang who loves to sing and hag out together. Every Tuesday at 6 to 8.30 p.m. we meet to sing as best as we can. We are the choir that doesn’t require any prior knowledge of singing, so come join us at HLK music-room He 309.

PUBPOOLEN
PubPoolen is the people who work behind the bar at Akademien; we mix drinks, serve beer and do our best so that you have a good time while you are visiting Akademien, our very own student nightclub/pub. Contact us if you’re interested in working behind the bar.

JUFSA is the Jönköping University Fantasy & Science-fiction Association.
We're an association for anyone at the university interested in boardgames, fantasy or sci-fi.
We'll meet every now and then to watch movies, play boardgames or for a pub quiz.

SIFE JÖNKÖPING

SIFE Jönköping is an entrepreneur association, where social benefits and commerce go hand in hand in our different projects. We take our projects from the planning stage to a reality. Creativity, drive and accomplishment are our key words.

 

Our projects are presented every year in the SIFE national competition, where the goal is to get in to the SIFE World Cup and face off against SIFE-teams from around the world. Don’t hesitate, join SIFE and open your mind as well as your possibilities.

DATORSEKTIONEN (the Computer section)

 

If your pulse goes up when you hear the words Linux, PHP and C, the computer association is for you. You will find our den and all our computers in the corridor between Books and Coffee and the CSN stairs at Studenternas hus. When we’re not programming, soldering or installing servers we arrange courses, movie nights, RawLab and more. Contact us.

RADIO K
Radio K is the association that broadcasts radio both lunchtime and at the evening. Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-12.45 it's lunch radio, then we bring up student news and everything else that's going on. Listen at or in the HLK entrance.

Wednesday nights it's pre-party radio 6pm - 8pm, then you can listen to FM 98,5 or via the web radio.

All interested future radio personalities are free to contact us, we take care of everyone. You are always welcome to our members-meetings that take place every other week, even weeks, 4pm outside the radio studio.

STV – STUDENT TV
STV regularly broadcasts on Jönköping local television. The programming consists of everything between comedy and serious themes. You’re welcome whether you have previous experience or not. You can work behind or in front of the camera, in the control room or out in the field. At STV you’ll learn to edit, produce, photograph and act!

WESTCOAST
Westcoast nation wants to spread the atmosphere only the Swedish west coast offers. That’s why we’ve chosen to let shrimps, saltwater and rocks embody our nation and its activities. The nation puts their members in focus and lends support when our members have a personal crisis, for example when they’ve been away from the west coast for too long!

ASAJ
ASAJ is the newly started African Student Association in Jönköping which seeks to provide the student body with a stronger sense and appreciation of a culturally diverse society. We strive to foster solidarity among African students, to share the wealth of the African continent and encourage the spirit of multiculturalism within both Jönköping University and the Jönköping community at large. ASAJ also aspires to raise awareness and arouse interest in African cultures and affairs.
